Assembly group

Classification: Group A division 1 (A-1)
  • Usually with fixed seating intended for production and viewing of the performing arts or motion pictures.
Example and Explanation: This a movie theatre. It is used for the viewing of motion pictures; it fits more than 50 people at a time.

  • Uses intended for food and or drink consumption.
Example and Explanation: This is the restaurant Olive Garden. It serves food and beverages to
its costumers.

Classification: Group A division 3 (A-3)
  • Uses intended for worship, recreation or amusement,and other assembly uses not otherwise classified.
Example and Explanation: This is a church. it holds more that 50 people at a time. It is a place where men, women, and children go for  worship.

  • Uses intended for viewing of indoor sporting events and activities with spectator seating.
Example and Explanation: This is the Honda Center; where the Anaheim ducks play. It is an indoor stadium with spectator seating.

Classification: Group A division5 ( A-5)
  • Uses intended for participation in or viewing outdoor activities.
Example and Explanation: This is Angel Stadium in Anaheim. It's an open stadium for the purpose of viewing outdoor sporting events such as baseball. This stadium also has outdoor seating.
